Clients choose Conger Wealth Management and Cindy Conger as a personal wealth advisor for her competence and the confidence she inspires. They stay with Cindy because she gets to know them, their families, their businesses and their preferences. She’s been there; so she can help them enjoy the good times and cope with the bad ones. Conger Wealth Management has a proven process that involves working closely with you and your other advisors to identify issues, review alternatives, recommend solutions and manage implementation with meticulous attention. Cindy assesses your situation, articulates your vision, develops a strategy to achieve your goals and helps you stay on track. The firm offers a package of financial planning, tax preparation and asset management from offices in the Pavilion Woods Building just off Cantrell Road at 2300 Andover Court in Little Rock.
Cindy has been recognized by Worth Magazine for a decade as one of the top practitioners in the nation and she recently was named to Wealth Manager Magazine’s “50 Distinguished Women in Wealth Management.” Cindy begins a client relationship with a comprehensive look at your current situation. As a part of that process, she reviews your employee benefit package to be sure that you are taking full advantage of benefits offered, and not paying for benefits that are either not needed or cheaper to purchase in other ways. She reviews all insurance coverage in place, from life and disability to property and casualty. When needed, she brings in specialists to enhance the evaluation. She reviews your current legal documents, for both adequacy and to be sure that they take into account the changes in estate planning law. She looks at your current tax situation and how you spend your money. In the next part of the planning process, she helps you to articulate your dreams – what you hope to accomplish in both the short and long term. She helps you to prioritize those dreams so that she understands what’s most important to you. If there are conflicting goals, her job isn’t to say “It can’t be done”, but to say “Let’s see what can be done!” Then, she gives you written recommendations on the steps needed to get started. She uses a disciplined investment process that takes into account not only how much risk are you comfortable taking in your investment portfolio (risk tolerance), but also how much down side risk is it prudent for you to have in your investment portfolio (risk capacity). She then develops a customized asset allocation. Cindy has found that it isn’t as important which individual assets you have in your portfolio, as it is to have the right asset classes in your portfolio. Having asset classes that counterbalance each other helps stabilize the volatility of your portfolio. That way you can take advantage of whatever part of “the market” is doing well at any given time. As part of that process, she attempts to harvest gains in the portfolio and invest in sectors that are beaten down – in other words, the goal is to sell high, buy low! She develops an Investment Policy Statement for you that explains what the objectives for the portfolio are, the time horizon for the portfolio, and gives parameters for how the portfolio is to be invested. In addition to preparing your personal and trust tax returns, her ongoing services include an annual planning update to make sure you are still on track to achieve your dreams, and at least one other meeting to thoroughly review your portfolio with you. More than that, there may be times when you need someone to act as your “decision partner”– someone who will help you work through the pros and cons of a challenging decision. Or you may need help in setting up Quicken software to help you keep track of where you are spending your money. Or you may go through a period in your life when you need help in just making sure your bills are paid on time. Whatever the need may be, Cindy Conger will partner with you to help you through tough times, and empower you to feel in control as a knowledgeable participant in the decision making process. She does this by maintaining close individualized contact as your needs change. How can Cindy help you Financially?
